Chili peppers, under normal packing conditions are susceptible to chilling injury.  The peppers will get dehydrated within 3 –5 days, softened and become unacceptable.  iFood boxes offer protection against chilling injury and the products can be shipped at 0 – 1 °C and has a shelf life of up to 28 to 35 days.  Product color, turgidity, and flavor are maintained during the storage period.  Chili peppers that has been successfully packed and shipped commercially include small chili peppers, Jalapeno peppers and other types of long chili peppers of various colors.
