Perry Lidster

COB, CTO, Founder

Mr. Lidster brings to IFS a robust expertise in development of novel, natural food safe packaging facilities and materials for fresh produce and fresh-cut flowers. His development for iFoods of a Modified Active Atmosphere Packaging (MAAP) system has five patents filed and three more in development. Previously Mr. Lidster served as Managing Director at Advanced Foods and Materials Network (later as Advanced Foods and Materials Canada) from 2009 until 2011 where he built an international food research network consisting of 17 independent research facilities worldwide. Under his guidance, AFM Net managed a multi-million dollar publicly/privately financed research project leading to new commercial products and processes.

Brian W. Pettersen

Chief Executive Officer

Brian Pettersen is the company’s CEO. He comes to IFS from his former company dHybrid Systems where he transitioned the company from a family- owned business to a market leader, resulting in the sale of the company to Worthington Industries, a NYSE listed Fortune 500 Company. Mr. Pettersen is an accomplished Senior Executive with strong management abilities and a track record for developing and delivering new and next generation products and services. He possesses strong skills in strategic planning, competitive positioning, market channel management, and product development. His experience in mergers and acquisitions in the public and private marketplace gives the company the necessary tools to evaluate corporate strategies. His resume is available upon request.

Sean Fetcho

EVP, Head of Business Development and Strategy, Co-Founder

Mr. Fetcho has been with IFS for the last three years developing worldwide markets through product testing with several major growers and packagers. With 14 years of sales and marketing experience, he brings a new and innovative approach to the agriculture world. In the healthcare industry, he successfully launched and supported a highly profitable set of print and digital marketing initiatives, targeting oncology, pain management and cardiology professionals. Sean was also the founder of a lifestyle and social media magazine business, which further helped develop his instinct for business development and strategy. His entrepreneurial ability has led him to be active and successful with launching divisions of companies as well as several tech start-ups.

Larry Otto

Executive Vice President of Sales

Mr. Otto began his career at L&M in sales for over 31 years. In addition to his role as VP of Marketing and Business Development, he served as company chaplain. L&M began directly importing fruits and vegetables from Mexico, Central and South America. With controlled volume reaching millions of packages the company began to sell their products globally. A list of LandM customers includes Wal-Mart, Sam’s Club, Costco, Kroger, Safeway, Albertsons, Loblaw, Aldi, Harris Teeter, Food Lion, Piggly Wiggly, Lowes Foods, Save-A-Lot, Sweet Bay, HEB, Pro Act, Markon, US Foodservice and Sysco.

Andrew Lidster

Director of Equipment and Engineering, Co-Founder

Mr. Lidster has extensive experience in modified atmosphere packaging, fresh-cut process equipment engineering, project management and research and development activities. Over the last 15 years, he has participated in the design and development of fresh-cut plants in the USA and Canada. Mr. Lidster has re-designed the essential equipment components for IF System and is capable of overseeing the redesign of production lines (electronic and mechanical) in support of IF System, including the installation and remote management of our folding and sealing machinery.
